In the Beginning...

I created this blog. And it is good.

Hello family and friends, after confirming with Gideon that we'll have internet access throughout most of our trip to India, I've decided a blog is the best way to chronicle our adventure. (Gid: Who knew the country we contract most of our computer programming to also has internet access?)

Right now we're keeping busy with acquiring travel visas, appropriate clothing, and finalizing our itinerary. We will be flying into Delhi on November 3rd and out of Mumbai on November 20th. Agra, Mumbai, Pune and Ahmednagar all are on the list. Our ability to fit Varanasi in is up in the air - but my hope is (with enough nagging) we'll be able to stretch ourselves and see it. (Gid: Oh, the joy.) I don't have any particular favorite at this point, but that's due to the fact that I haven't had a serious reading of the travel guide yet. (Gid: Stop. Being. Lazy.)

Once in India, I will post entries and photos periodically for your profound amusement and joy. (Gid: No need to thank us.)
